Roary's Roarings
I’m Roary and I’m the mascot for Newbury Lions Club. I thought I’d let you know what we get up to and what’s happening in the months to come.
I used to live in Africa and heard about these people all over the world who call themselves Lions who go about doing good things and helping other people. I decided to see for myself what they do! The Lions in Newbury have been around for over 40 years and have helped such a lot of people in the local area as well as sending money abroad, so I decided that I’d stay around and help them.
Below are some photographs of me helping out .. well, that’s what I think. I’m not sure the Lions Club members feel the same way!
Check out the Calendar to see what events are coming up and, if I brush out my mane and wash my paws, maybe I’ll see you there?
Come along and say hi!
