Pity the chicken who laid this.
Each year we place Giant Easter Eggs in venues across West Berkshire which are raffled to raise money for our Welfare Fund.
We are always looking for new venues, so please get in touch if you think your work place/social club/pub or business would be able to take an egg this year.
The Challenge is on to raise more than last year’s top venue, The Hatch Gate Inn, Burghfield, whose patrons raised the magnificent sum of £305!

After a whirlwind autumn of community events—including their popular fireworks display and a "Christmas-saving" Santa sleigh run—the Newbury Lions are regrouping for 2026. While their efforts provided vital support for local food banks and families in need, the charity is now urgently seeking new members and sponsors to ensure these beloved traditions can continue.
