Newbury Italian Auto Moto Festival
Newbury Lions are gearing up for a new event that they hope will be a roaring success. Following hot on the flippers of their successful Duck Race in May, they are racing ahead to bring dozens of Italian Cars to Newbury Town Centre on Saturday 26th July. Originally planned for Sunday July 27th, the event was in danger of being cancelled when a satisfactory arrangement could not be agreed with the Artisan Market regarding sharing the available space in town. However, in collaboration with Visit Newbury and Newbury Town Council, an agreement has been reached to hold the event on the Saturday.

A spokesperson for Newbury Lions said ‘We are incredibly grateful to the Italian Auto Moto Club for choosing Newbury Lions as beneficiaries of this event. Although we thought we may have to cancel at one point, the event has been saved by the timely intervention of Newbury Town Council and Visit Newbury working together to bring this new and exciting venture to the town centre. Proceeds from the day will be used to support vulnerable people and families in need in the local area throughout the coming year’
